The Invasive Species Data ServiceThe Invasive Species Data Service (ISDS) supports data ingest by helping gather and prepare relevant satellite and field data. Work on this part of the system started Spring 2004. Ultimately, the ISDS will be a networked capability that integrates a suite of NASA ESE data providers with the data resources of the National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII). Aggregated ISDS data feeds directly into ISFS's Invasive Species Analysis and Modeling Service. ![]() State Coverage from MODIS-4 H09V04, H09V05, H10V04 and H10V05 tiles. StatusWe are preparing for our first major round of requirements gathering and system design, which is scheduled for the summer of 2004. To prepare for these activities, we have assembled an initial suite of satellite data and field data focusing primarily on our study sites, the state of Colorado, and the Tamarisk Grand Challenge.
